Sissi meets the French Minister of the Economy
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi met with French Minister of Economy and Finance Bruno Le Maire on Sunday to discuss bilateral relations and ways to maximize partnerships between the two countries.
According to a statement by presidential spokesman Bassam Rady, Le Maire conveyed greetings to Sisi from his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, who also expressed his admiration for Egypt’s recent efforts to calm the situation in the Palestinian territories. .
Macron also underlined the depth of strategic relations between France and Egypt.
The Mayor also affirmed France’s willingness to continue supporting Egypt through investments, declaring that France considers Egypt to be extremely promising in terms of funding and investment programs, as well as to through joint cooperation.

The officials stressed that economic and trade cooperation between Egypt and France was a priority and discussed the volume of French investment in the Egyptian market through huge investment opportunities for the French business sector under the Egyptian national projects.
They also discussed a number of other topics related to bilateral relations and ways to maximize the partnership between the two countries through culture and strengthening tourism exchanges, after Egypt vaccinated all workers in its tourist sites and seaside resorts.
